Dr Eric Asis

Dentist

Dr Eric completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at the prestigious University of Sydney in 2002. After graduating, he gained valuable hands-on experience working in the public dental system in Bathurst, where he treated a wide range of patients and procedures. He later moved his growing family to Newcastle, drawn to the area as a place to build both his home and his practice.

After working across several local clinics, Dr Eric opened his own practice to deliver the kind of dental care he is passionate about—high-quality, ethical, and patient-centred dentistry. He is known for his gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to making every patient feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for.

Dr Eric is a dedicated family man who loves spending time with his wife Rachel (the Practice Manager and love of his life) and their six children. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing whenever he can, often in the early hours of the morning.

Dr Meghan Stockings

Dentist

Dr Meg grew up in Newcastle, moving to the Gold Coast to study Dentistry at Griffith University. After graduating she relocated back to Newcastle, so she could raise her young family. Dr Meg started working here in 2017, and loves being a part of the LakeMacDentist family.

Dr Meg offers a calm, gentle environment to help to make sure her patients feel comfortable and takes the time with patients to encourage them to have a better understanding of their oral health. She strives to give every patient the best possible care with her attention to detail. She is currently working part time whilst also looking after her two children.

When not at work (or doing housework), Dr Meg enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking or swimming at the beach.

Dr Alison Lau

Dentist

Dr Alison Lau graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (Distinction) from the University of Melbourne.

Dr Alison prioritises a gentle, patient and honest approach with her patients. Having spent ten years growing up in Malaysia, she witnessed firsthand the challenges of limited dental care. She thus strives to create a calm, gentle environment where even the most anxious patients feel supported and empowered to make confident decisions about their smiles.

For Dr Alison, building lasting relationships with patients is the main joy in dentistry. She is committed to providing high quality and comprehensive oral health care to her patients and will take her time to explain dental conditions and treatment plans to patients. She has a strong interest in wisdom teeth extractions, root canal treatments, and cosmetic dentistry.

Beyond dentistry, she can be found scuba diving, surfing, in Sunday run clubs or reading science fantasy or any book she can get her hands on!

Rachel Asis

Practice Manager

Rachel is a dedicated and compassionate professional who values teamwork, integrity, and clear communication. She is deeply committed to providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and their family. Known for her calm leadership and thoughtful approach, Rachel strives to ensure the clinic is a supportive, respectful space where patients feel genuinely cared for and understood.

As a proud mum of six, Rachel understands the importance of family, trust, and connection. She finds great joy in watching families grow—both her own and those within the clinic community. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and cooking for her busy household.

Kaylee Khalil

Certified Dental Assistant III

Hi, I’m Kaylee! I’ve been a dental assistant for just over a decade, with 8 of those years spent with LakeMacDentist. I completed my Certificate III in 2016, and my passion for all things dental drives me to provide the best possible care for our patients. I believe that our team’s commitment makes a difference in the overall quality of care we deliver.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of two. In my spare time, you can find me enjoying the outdoors at a Lake Mac park or pump track with a coffee in hand.

Chloe Dale

Certified Dental Assistant III

Hi, I’m Chloe. I’m a dental nurse here at Lake Macquarie Dental Practice with over four years of experience in helping patients feel at ease and confident in their smiles. I take pride in bringing a gentle, caring, and kind approach to every interaction, ensuring each person feels comfortable and supported throughout their dental care.

One of the things I love about our team here at LakeMacDentist is that we share the same commitment to patient care and the support for one another.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about training at the gym (a hobby that keeps me motivated and focused). I love spending time with my family and friends, and I’m never far from my dog, who adds so much joy to my days.

Grace Loke

Registered Nurse

Hi, I’m a dental assistant at LakeMacDentist and joined the team in January 2025. I’ve really enjoyed being part of such a welcoming and supportive team who work closely together and genuinely care about their patients. I love helping patients feel comfortable and supporting the dentists to provide great care in a relaxed, friendly environment.

I graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2019. Prior to joining the practice, I worked as an Assistant in Nursing in the aged care facility, which helped shape my caring, patient-focused approach to healthcare.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, relaxing at home with my cat and staying active with badminton and Pilates.

Chelsea Cox

Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Chelsea I have been at Lake Mac Dentist a short time but i have found quick interest in the field.

I am currently starting a bachelor degree in Biomedical science at the university of Newcastle. I am also looking forward to starting my certification in dental assisting.

In my spare time you’re likely to find me at an op shop or adding to my Lego collection.

Arabella Asis

Dental Assistant

Hi I’m Arabella. Although familiar, I had limited knowledge in this field but wanted to try something different and learn more about the dental industry. The team are undoubtedly steadfast in the wellbeing of their patients and peers, creating a strong community.

I adore the natural world and in my spare time I love to digitally preserve everything around me with my camera.

LMDP is a wonderful environment for the team and patients alike.
